OUR STORY

Hello,  Let me introduce myself,

I'm Shirley,  Mother, Grandmother and baker !

 

When i was a child , I watched my mother bake and try new things just  because she wanted to see if she could create them. Her creativty and resourcefulness was truly an inspiration to me.

 

I saw her sucesses and failures, but she never gave up.

From helping her shake hot homemade donuts in a little brown paper bag filled with cinnamon and sugar, to pulling taffy , we did it together. My first birthday cake that I remember her making as a child had a barbie doll in the middle of it !  She told me all my life "you can make what ever you put your mind to."

 

So when I started my own family , I carried on her tradition of always making my children's birthday cakes in what ever form they wanted. I found the challange exciting and fun. Creating is in my soul.

 

So with Mom's recipe box in hand , I'm setting out to share

my creations with others.

 

When you are doing something that you truly love to do, it's not work, its my pleasure.
